We had planned separate Junior and Senior Camps again this year, but due to scheduling conflicts, we ended up combining the camps for the week of July 18-23.

The theme for this year's camp was being justified before God. David preached 9 messages from the book of Romans, and the young people listened well. They learned a number of verses and had personal devotion times each morning.

This year we did crafts at camp, and the young people really enjoyed them. We are grateful for friends who prepared and sent all the materials for the crafts. Besides David and Donna, our other staff were our son John, Abraham, and Motion.

There were 22 campers from 10 to 21 years old this year. Unfortunately, one 12 year old girl fell off the top bunk and broke her collar bone on Wednesday night. Thursday morning David, Donna, and Motion took her in the boat back to Laura village where someone took her to the doctor, and she is healing well. The Lord gave us safety in boating and good weather. Our rain catchment was a bit low at the beginning of the week, but the Lord sent enough rain to see us through. We are thankful for the concentrated time of sharing God's Word with the campers and for the opportunity to get to know some new young people.
